What should the mets do with Perez?

He should get sent to the minors at the very least, but if it weren't for his contract, I would say release him. He's already "hit bottom" a few years ago when the Mets got him as a throw-in when they traded away Xavier Nady. A player rarely has two "comebacks". What's strange is that he's still young, but the man just can't consistently pitch well & he's lost his fastball.
