If i have a nephew that has OI, does that mean it is a greater chance that i may have a child with OI?

If it is so rare that the doctors are not sure, then I would have to say that you are likely going to have healthy children. Are there support groups for OI families online? Does your sister know anyone else? Perhaps you can ask them if anyone has noticed it running in families, or if it seems more random than that.
