Renault Megane Broke Down.?

It sounds as though it was not the brakes that seized ,it was your engine that seized up ,this would have locked your drive wheels.If you had pushed the clutch pedal down it would have coasted ok,or knocked it out of gear.If the cam belt is gone then you may find it is a total engine rebuild or exchange mill.
