What should i look for in an airsoft gun?

i would like to know what to look for in an airsoft gun. i already know it is good to get a good gun with an fps of 350 and also that it is good to get one with good accuracy. for what i would like to do i think i would need a fairly versatile gun because it will need to have range, but also be able to take on a semi close quarters situations also. please let me know what you think would be best for me and also include the gun that you use. i would like to know what the more popular guns are also if that is ok. please include links. thanks!
